Conceptually, I’ve been developing this character and his powers since I was in high school. This is a design that I did in my sketchbook a few years ago. I guess it’s his current character design. He’s one of the characters from the Angels & Alchemy world that I am developing with my best friend James.

Developing my Characters
Iβm finally coming to grips with the fact that I might not be the best at designing costumes. In my head, my characters are sooo much cooler visually than they actually are. These are some designs-in-progress; theyβre probably getting scrapped entirely.
Unicorns: why are they so popular in Grocery Stores?
My girlfriend and I went out for our second grocery shopping trip since the stay-at home order was given. The experience was entirely different: hella fewer people. No one was frantic, everyone kept their distance, wore masks, and were eerily silent. My other observation: unicorns were everywhere. I took a few pics, but there were way more.
My next project
My current side project is decorating deck boxes for some Magic the Gathering decks that I frequently use. I discovered that cardboard is the perfect canvas for watercolors- it doesn’t warp when soaked, and I don’t need to stretch it!!
This is one of the three that I’m currently rly working on. It’s for a deck built around the card of Tishana, Voice of Thunder. Official art for the card is here:
Face/Palm #2846
I always buy replacement ink reservoirs but never use them because I can’t remember which pens they actually belong to.
Easter Monday…?
Why does my calendar have “Easter Monday” on it? Is this a thing? Since when is it a thing?
How can you tell if the Lemon Meringue pie inside is quality?
If this is what you see on the outside, and are curious about the inside, open the box.
If that’s what happens? You’re golden.
Let this be a lesson
When making oatmeal in the microwave, always remember to put in water. Now the office smells of smoke and everyone is angry at me. Plus my bowl broke π€.
The roof of a Tesela
Took a road trip in my friend’s Tesela over the weekend. Had never driven in one before, and now I’m motivated to buy one.
One of my favorite things about the vehicle was the roof! It was almost entirely made of tinted glass. The weather out was cloudy with occasional rain. It was cool to watch the sun dance in between the cloud.
AWD in California rain = yes
I love crushing puddles when I’m in my beloved Ashley. π I go hard when it’s wet.
